What Greek God(dess) Are You?

Hey, why not?
Feel free to take the quiz and tell me who you are most like.
(I think the Aphrodite thing is a bit off for me!)

Gods! You scored 55!

You are most like the Goddess Aphrodite! Aphrodite is the goddess of love, beauty, fertility and desire. Although she was married she had many affairs with both other gods and men - most famously with Ares. Her husband Hephaestus caught them in a net he had made and paraded them in front of the other gods. Aphrodite is mean, vain and jealous, and most often depicted with a mirror.

One of my new favourites

Davey Dance-BLOG.
A project started while traveling Europe during Spring 2007.
Armed only with an ipod and a Canon PowerShot,
Davey picks a location and a pop song.
Then Davey records an improvised dance.

Davey Dance Blog -37- PLYMOUTH ROCK - Led Zeppelin - "Immigrant Song" from Pheasant Plucker on Vimeo.

Davey Dance Blog -26- BROOKLYN BRIDGE - Ace Frehley - "NY Groove" from Pheasant Plucker on Vimeo.

There are so many good ones, but you can never go wrong with the Immigrant Song, or something summery about NYC. Brooklyn!!

I know, I know

Testing. Testing. 1, 2, 3.... is this things still on?

I know it's been a long while. No excuses, just been facebooking and out living life I suppose. Also been trying to get back to writing in an honest to goodness paper journal again, so that too has changed my modes of communication.

In a nutshell, here's what's been happening:

-Survived my first fall semester as an academic librarian. Which means I managed to keep my head above water and not hurt (to my knowledge) anyone's scholastic career.
- Had a proposal accepted for a conference taking place this spring in Salt Lake City. Found out this week that I'll be going to said conference.
- Was visited by a wonderful traveler all the way from "the east". Got a new boyfriend in the process.
- Fled Saskatchewan for a couple of weeks in December. This time was filled with good food, family, and friend time. Went to Toronto, Niagara Falls, and NY State.
- Am in the middle of planning some fabulous trips this winter/spring, including Ireland and Philadelphia.
- Went to a cool concert last night; a bluegrass band called The Special Consensus who played with the Regina Symphony Orchestra. Very enjoyable.

That's it for now!
