This is me, being all conference-like
Well, it's official.
I've been alluding to this conference for some time now, though the details were somewhat hazy so I had to wait to tell you more until I had the official word.
Here's where I'll be spending some time in April. Make like a Beastie Boy and check it out!
2008 Off-Campus Library Services Conference

Looks like I'll be in very good company. I can't wait to be in Salt Lake meeting and talking to other librarians who work with distance education students and faculty. There's nothing better than sharing ideas and getting inspired by colleagues, as well as hearing about all of the creative initiatives out there. Being so new to this profession, and to distance education as a whole, I know this is going to be a fantastic opportunity.
The paper is down, so now it's "just" the presentation to go!

Congratulations, Susan! It sounds like a wonderful opportunity.
Yeah, one of the highlights of my usability geeks conference was to be able to talk to others who share my passion for the topic. It was strange to talk about web design and not have people's eyes begin to wander :).
Susan! Reading all of that made me so proud to know you, you fancy-pants librarian!!!!
